Hi, I have dual citizenship with us/ca and landed a job up in Toronto, and I have a few questions.

1) I plan on just driving across the border, can i just say I'm coming for work for a couple months with intent to move to Canada if the job works out? Then if it does, come back to US and make the proper move to Canada?

2) Talking with the Canadian consulate here in the States, i shouldnt need any kind of visa or work permit because i am a Canadian citizen, said I can just walk in eith my documents and get my sin number. That sound correct?

3) Thanks!

You are a dual citizen with assume a US passport to enter the US and a Canadian passport to enter Canada so you can come and go as you please subject only to the standard customs inspections at either border.

Doubt CBSA will be interested at all in your work intentions once you present your Canadian passport other than ask what goods you might be bringing in although they might enquire on your plans with a US registered car which I guess might be a lead into work /settlement intentions. Just take an honest approach and should be fine.
