US BORN SON FOR CANADIAN PR's - Applying for PR

Hi

We became Canadian PR in June 2011. We stayed in Ontario for one year.
We returned back to US on work permit. We are blessed with wonderful Son.
We would like to apply for PR for him and return back after 6 months.
What is the process and how long it takes.
Did anyone go through this process recently.
