Hi,
I just received a call from a woman saying she works for CIC and would like me to sent a $200 late application fee to a fax number she gave me. This felt like a scam and I was very skeptic about the situation.
Although I have now also received an email notifying changes has been made to my application. On CIC's website I can now see that my application has been put on hold.
Even if this is legit- I am 100% sure that I submitted my application within 90 days of graduation. The problem is that on my graduation certificate it says that I graduated on the month of April (No date stated).
The facts are the following:
*Last day of exam week April 28
*Application submitted July 15
The lady on the phone said she would put my application on hold until the 7th this month, after this date it would be rejected. I am unable to contact her since call was received from private number and I don't know how to contact CIC to sort this out within just a few short days.
