URGENT :( Visitor Visa Extension REFUSED

Hi there, my girlfriend has been in Canada for over 6 months now as we were waiting to get a visitor visa extension. Unfortunately, we just received notice that her application has been refused and she must leave the country immediately I was just wondering if it is possible to do a border run to the US with the hopes of getting back into Canada for another few months? If not, how strict are they on her leaving "immediately"? Does she have a few days/weeks to get her stuff together before sending her home? She also has an application in for Quebec Skilled workers certificate, so we don't want to risk losing that in any way. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes - she can take a few days / weeks to get her things together (I wouldn't push it longer than two weeks). Does she have a US visa? Simply flagpoling (i.e. leaving Canada and then turning around and re-entering without actually entering the US) won't work since she's not visa exempt. She would need to physically enter the US. Doing a run to the border does come with a minor risk. If you end up with a border official who is really unhappy with what she's doing, there's always some very minor change she could end up with a one year exclusion order. I would personally do as told and leave Canada.

I apologize to post here but I have been studying your posts recently and your advice seem to be the point
Now my case is

I am a provincial nominee currently working in canada.
I wanted to invite my sister for 4-8 weeks to Canada on visit visa as her birthday gift. She is a student who recently took exams and have 5-6 months break before her studies resume at next level.

Now she had travelled previously to G7 country South Korea for 3 months and returned while I wss there. I invited her there when I was on work visa.
She is returning this time as well as I legally signed an affidavit in front of laywer for that.
Me and my wife both working full time and have enough funds in our bank ac.

Now my question is what docs are needed to convince VO that she wont stay in canada more than her term and will leave
How will we make it more prestine clear that she is a genuine visitor

Your advice will be appreciated

She needs to provide proof that she has strong ties to her home country, things like: proof of school enrollment, proof of tuition payments for upcoming school semester, proof of employment, proof of property ownership / rental.

Actually she is getting letter from college as she did previously for south korea

She cant enrol in next level until she passes the current level

She has always been full time student so no work history.

As for fixed property is concerned she is just 19 yrs old

So her sponsor back home is Granpa and granny
They got lots of property and bank balance
Their business has huge profits N turnover

She has bank account for past 1 year with almost 5000 CAD

Me and my granpa will sign legal affidavit stating tht she will leave canada as soon as vacation gets over.

I would ask for a shorter time rather then a longer time. I would say two to three weeks max. She can always apply to extend. The boarder official that she meets when she enters the company will decide when her visa will expire.
