Urgent visa required

Hi,
I wish to travel to Canada with my husband to see our sister who is a permanent resident there.
We had sent our application on 11/07/17 and have booked out confirmed flight tickets for 11/08/17. Since our departure is in 1 week now how do I avail the Visa at the earliest?
There is no way of reaching the embassy . This is urgent. Please help.

Unfortunately there's really not much you can do but wait.

You can submit a case specific request to your visa office about the status of your application. However this won't speed up processing. All this will do is tell you the general status of your application.

Unfortunately it's impossible to say if you visa will be processed in time for your trip. The processing times posted on the CIC web site are estimates only and it's quite possible for processing to take a few months. In the future, you should never purchase airline tickets until after you visa has been approved.
