URGENT!!! Visa has been approved, Passport renewal?

Hello guys,

My visitor's visa has been approved and my passport has been requested for by the embassy. My passport expires in less than 12 months from now and I heard the visa duration will be given depending on the length of one's passport. I intend renewing my passport before sending it to the Canadian Embassy. Will that be okay? or will it pose a problem at the Canadian embassy?

no problem , get a new passport and send the new and old passport for embassy to attach the visa lable and the duration of visa should be the end of your new passport duration.
