Dear All and experts please help
Here's a scenario
1] Suppose I land in Canada on 1 Jan 2014
Then i leave in 10 days on 11 Jan 2014 -- and later ask relative to post card to my international address.
Is this acceptable and legal ?
I heard that when u leave canada they scan ur PR card, so in this case they wont be able to do it so is there any issue ?
2] Secondly carrying on further
Suppose i then stay in my native country for the next 5 years and return to Canada on
1 jan 2019 -- 5 years afterwards
And then i stay consecutively for 3 years in Canada . .
So in 1 jan 2021 will i be able to renew the PR card ? (since they have to see LAST 5 year period)
Also in 1 jan 2022 will i be able to get Citizenship (since i spent 3 years out of Last 4 year period) ??
But i heard that we need to have 3 years out of ANY 4 since getting PR card
So will they consider this last 4 year period or they will check from 1 jan 2014 when first PR card was issued ?
Its a very interesting and tricky point, so I request someone to clear it.. . ..
Kindly dont give simplistic answers like just go there and stay for 3 years non stop since i already know all that
Thanks
