Hello.

We have the same issue now. Doctor said that we should find the reason and repeat the tests until blood is gone.
It really depends on the amount of blood in urine.
In our case it was "trace" so we have to treat the condition and go for retest.

We have been suggested that it might be caused by drinking water cleaned with sand filters used by some manufacturers of soft drinks.
So it is worth to try to cut beer, bottled juices, water etc. for a week before the exam.

Which country are you from if you don't mind me asking.

We are from Poland.

I have been reading a bit about the exam and found out some nice material on cic site :
cic gc ca english department partner pp

There is mentioned that only 2+ 3+ blood in urine should be reported and just traces may be accepted.
Also there is a kind of grading "A" and "B".

What the grades mean?

I believe it denotes if there was something found or not in medicals.

Did your doctor reveal the grade right away after medicals to you?

Well I guess grade A means - no problem
but I am not sure whether B means a problem or "inadmissible".

No, the doctor did not told us the grade.
But he told us that for two of us there is no problem and the third needs to sort out the urine problem and we need to address it on our own as they are not allowed to treat us in any way (I guess this is a kind of anti scam measure and it is ok).

Hi All,
My spouse has a blood in the urine (trace(A)) and also proteins (trace (a)). Ultrasound on the bladder and kidneys was done. Also bladder endoscopy was done. All are good. Also other tests like creatinine and eGFR are normal. What are the chances of passing the medicals?.
Thank you

Hey Guys,

My wife was reported with 3+ blood in urine. will this be fine if her mensuration cycle was delayed. Though, all the other tests were normal?

Please advise
