Urgent - sponsors current address different from whats written on COPR

Hey everybody

I have one last Question to ask.

When my husband and i started this process, i was living with my parents here in Chapleau Ontario.

Right after Hubbys COPR was issued, i started looking for an apartment because i knew we would not be able to stay with my parents.

I found an apartment quicker than expected, and have been living here for about 2 weeks already.

I still live in Chapleau, but my residential address is different than whats on the COPR.

My parents still live at the previous address and the mailing address has not changed.

Mailing address is still our PO Box Number since we do not have home delivery here.

Hubby is landing in 3 days.
When the immigration officer asks him where he is staying, what should he say?

When the immigration officer asks

He can tell the present address with exactly same reason as you described here. I don't see any big problem even if older address is used in Landing papers.

yep just give the new/current address for PR Card delivery, but make sure he mentions it to immigration officials at airport.
Otherwise they will assume old address is correct and send PR Card there....so yeah make sure its corrected when landing
