Urgent: Should i send CASE Status Enquiry to CHC???

hello ppl!!! i applied for visa on 6 july...my medical was done on 29 July...on 6th Aug i was asked to submit my travel history again....i submitted that and since then it is complete silence from their side...Should i send them a query email regarding case status or shd i wait??? i need to decide on addmision deferal as well :S
