Hi everyone,
I'm applying for Permanent Residency Express Entry from Mumbai, India.
I'm in Mumbai, India right now. When I received my ITA I uploaded everything and was also told to upload my Upfront Medical Exam Proof. And if I didn't have any information about the UME, the appointment scheduled information should be attached. This is what I have uploaded and sent for my application.
I submitted my application at the end of April and had my UME yesterday. When I reached the hospital (Lilavati Hospital. Mumbai), they said that I didn't have an IME number allotted to me yet. They also showed me a notice saying that for PR applicants to Canada, to NOT let them undergo any UME, as the Visa office for Canada will send a notice stating that the medical will need to be done.
This is in line with the medical exam for PR page on the IRCC website: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ms/requirements-permanent-residents.html#when
It also mentioned BEFORE applying, and they also mention that I can get it done AFTER applying once the notice is received on my profile. I have put my UME on hold, but I wanted advice on what should I ideally get done?
I wanted to email the IRCC but I couldn't find any query form that wasn't an emergency form for change of major details. Could someone please reply as soon as possible as I'm not sure what I should be doing right now.
