Hi Experts,

Please help me on the following queries:

1. I have two degrees (BSC and MBA) and my ECA report says like:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Credential 1:
BSC in Computer science
Years studied: 4 years
Canadian equivalency: Bachelor degree (three years)

Credential 2:
MBA in HRM
Years studied: 2 years
Canadian equivalency: Bachelor degree (four years)
(This degree is evaluated in conjunction with the BSC degree)"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My query is, when creating my express entry profile what should i select in the field "Level of education (Canadian equivalent) shown on report" for both of these degrees ? Should those be "Bachelor degree...." for both or can i select "Two or more degree....." for one ?

2. What will be the possible processing time if i sponsor my spouse later on ?

hi bro.... my ECA reports is as bellow...

Canadian Equivalency Summary: Two bachelor’s Degree (Four years).

Credential Analysis
1. Credential Authentication : Official Transcripts were sent directly by the institution
Country: *****
Credential: Bachelor of computer Applications
Year: 20**
Awarded Status: Recognized
Admission requirements: Secondary School graduation
Length of program: Three years
Major/Specialization: Computer Applications
Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor degree (four years)

2. Credential Authentication: Transcripts were verified by the institution.
Country: ****
Credential: Master of Business Administration
Year: 20**
Awarded Status: Recognized
Admission requirements: Bachelor degree
Length of program: Two years
Major/Specialization: Information Technology
Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor degree (four years).
Remarks: The equivalency for this credential is stated in conjunction with study previously completed (see#1, above).

My question is: Should i select "Bachelor Degree...." or "Two or more..." because credential summary already stated "Two Bachelor degree (four years")??
Another question : what should i select "Level of Education" and "Level of Education (Canadian equivalent) shown on ECA..." for my MBA in EE Profile??

waiting for your valuable response..... Thanks

If you have a Master's, why are you selecting "Two or more degrees..." ? A Master's gets you more points.

Right, I see.

For "Two or more degrees..." you need to select "Two or more degrees" for both.

@Soumi: you need to select Bachelor degree, not masters or two or more....

Your actual bachelor degree was of 3 years so there is no chance that they considered only this degree as 4 years. Your both degrees are evaluated in conjunction and finally it is 4 years bachelor degree. Select it as 4 years bachelor without any doubt.

One thing, in your report, for bachelor degree it is written "Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor degree (four years)" but in my sense it was suppose to be "Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor degree (three years)". I am not sure, it could be a typo. But i am sure that this will not be counted as two or more degrees...

Dear All:
Please shade some lights on my queries as I do not have any understanding about express entry system.
I am 40 years old and I am currently working in Public Health area. I've 4 years working experience in this field. Before that I worked in academia (e.g. as a teacher). I have Master degree (as per ECA) and my wife has a bachelor degree (ECA has not been done yet). I have no Canadian job experience as well as no job offer for me. Now I'm thinking about immigration to Canada and me and my wife are thinking to sit for IELTS exam soon.
Is express entry could be a viable option for me?
Is there any Deadline to apply under this express entry system?
Will it be a good idea to apply through an immigration lawyer?
Is it possible to apply independently?
Any advise or guidance would be greatly appreciated..!!
Thanks in advance for your response(s)!
Regards
Shahin

yes.. i also think i should select Bachelor degree as my graduation is 3 years.
My main confusion is ECA equivalency summary which they mentioned as "Canadian Equivalency Summary: Two bachelor’s Degree (Four years)".
Any way.. if i select "Bachelor...." now and if they find it as "Two or more..." or vise versa, will it make any major issue for processing my application...????

Absolutely not.
The only problem is if you're trying to claim more points than you qualify for; claiming fewer points than you might qualify for is definitely not a problem.
