Urgent--- Proof of funds for parents- SBI and PNB India

Hi friends, I am applying visitor visa for my parents. They have bank accounts with SBI and PNB bank.

SBI refused to give any bank letter saying their balance, account number etc.

They said they will only give printout of 6 months transaction but they will charge 120 for this. For each FD they will charge 180.

I am amazed that they are charging money just to tell customer balance, but bigger problem is that these documents will not help.

Has anyone got bank letter for SBI and can they share the format?

you need to upload bank statement only and not bank certificate. bank statement is required for proof of funds and also for source of funds. if they have internet bankig, they can download their 6 months bank statements and upload that. just ensure that your parents name, account number and bank contact details are mentioned on that. if you need any other help for visitor visa, feel free to DM me
