URGENT! PPR Question

Hello All,

I need some expert advice since I am at a loss of what to do.

I received my PPR request yesterday. As luck would have it, I had applied for a new passport (since my pages were getting over) and received my new passport yesterday as well. My embassy cancelled my old passport (I still have it with me) when they issued the new passport.

In this situation, I dont know which passport to send to VAC for the PPR? Should I send both? Should I let CIC know about my new passport?

I am really at a loss and really worried about what to do.

Any help will be highly appreciated!

what i was told is to send the new passport thats it . i also applied for the new passport and at the same time waiting for ppr . i m gonna send my new passport with a loe stating why i had to apply for a new passport.

Enclose old passport along with the new passport and write a letter of explanation why you doing it so. This will convey the message to VO and it won't causes delays.

Thank you for your reply. May I ask where you got this information from? Should the new passport not be uploaded into the system to inform CIC? Also, will you send your old passport as well?
