Could anyone please help...Do we need to Notrarize the Xerox copies? or we can send all plain xerox copies

Hi,

Yes, if you are applying to CIC for immigration purpose, then you need to Notarize all the Xerox copies with the wording "I certify that it is a true copy of the Original" before the sign & seal of the Notary. There might be new wording now as I have applied in 2011. Please check the CIC website.

Hi Coolguy,

Thanks for the information. Just checked the Document Checklist Form. It only says copies not certified copies. So, you are right. At this point, no need to send any Notarized/Certified copies (with the initial application).
