I spoke to CIC's customer care representative over the phone before receiving email from CIC and they suggested that we (Me and my spouse) send our passports to OTTAWA address in separate mails, as I reside in USA (Primary Applicant) and my spouse (dependent applicant) resides in CANADA, with a letter explaining our situation because we cannot submit our passports in a single mail.
But, the email we received on April 18, 2018 from IRCC suggested sending the passport to VAC in New York. Do my spouse has to send his passport to VAC New York too? Or, Can he send his passport to Ottawa and I send it to VAC New York?
Please help us as we are unclear on how to proceed because we cannot submit our passports in a single mail.
