Hello,

I don't know about MBA but I will try to put this post on the top as the subject indicates urgent :D :)

this is not very urgent its misleading there is plenty of time for fall 2013 intake. every university has its own application deadline and u have to make sure ur application packages reaches university before that date means u have to post it accordingly.

@ Mead

At one side u r saying that its not late but then again u r saying that deadlines r strict.

I already told that I will start preparing for GMAT from Nov 1st Wk because in Oct End I will wrap up IELTS.

So based on that, I want inputs from you guys and If possible, Could you recommend some good and low Budget Univ for MBA.

GMAT is not a cakewalk so I am thinking of Australia too where GMAT is not required OR Should I go for GMAT only

deadlines for applications r somewhere in feb/march there is plenty of time its sept now.....prepare for GMAT and ielts at the same time, ielts is a cakewalk how ever GMAT is not. so start preparing for them right now .

@Mead

I have one query to you : I am decided to go for GMAT and then MBA from some good and low Budget Universities

Do you think that pursuing MBA after 2 yrs of Work Ex in IT ( SAP Software- Enterprise Resource planning) is good enough OR whether I should pursue Course based masters like M.Engg in Engg management/Tech Mngt or some other masters which is not very much programming inclined.

Can I consider Australia as backup option because there GMAT is not required but again getting PR is tough + Aus is a way costly.

Please provide you inputs to all my doubts.

Thanks !!

i have already suggested u to do Mengg in ur field. MBA is good but have u researched how ur resume gonna read after MBA
Bachelors in electronics or what ever it is
job exp 2 years in software
MBA in?
if u go to monster which job will u apply? thats just something to think about.....

I am not thinking that much far , right now... I can go for M.Enng Program in IT related stream but there are high chances that I end up with doing Pre-requisite courses beforehand which would consume Time and money both as Extra ...so I am considering M.Eng in courses like Engg mngt / tech mngt or something like that which dont have programming and coding at all (Could you please recommend some courses ???)..... as i am not interested and not good in these coding stuff at all.

Yes . B.Tech is in electronics
2 yr Work Ex in Testing/Quality Assurance for SAP - Enterprise resource planning software
MBA in ?? --> that I still dont know.

As of now my main priority is MBA and second is m.Engg in above listed subjects '

GMAT is a major hurdle so I am thinking of Australia ( No GMAT ) but not sure as Immigration is quite tough there and its costly too ...Now suggest '

One more thing...What would be the Work permit I can expect after completing my MBA in 12 or 14 months. ????
