I sent my application in Feb 2013 and received AOR on April 2nd. I did not send my PCC with the application.
I requested for GCMS notes on June 14th and received the same on July 14th. In the GCMS notes, the current status is Criminality - In Progress. Is this the process for which they need PCC? I have not received any request from CIC to submit PCC till now.
I went to India last month and got PCC issued by SSP Office. I have below questions, please help me on that -
1) In the GCMS notes, The Paper file status is shown as "In Transit". Last update on April 9th
Office - Centralized Intake Office
Location - In Transit
Question - Why the file is still in Transit from April 9th to June 14th??? And in this case where should i send the PCC?
2) Regarding PCC, i have a different address on my passport and my present permanent address in India. I though had got my ration card transferred to the new address in 2011 before coming to Canada, so using that i got the PCC issued from SSP Office.
However, on the PCC, below is written -
"It is certified that Mr. xxx, holder of Passport xxx is a resident of <Current Address>. There is nothing adverse criminally against him in the record of local police of this district for the period for which he stayed at the above mentioned address."
There is no period of stay mentioned however. Will this be acceptable to CIC?
