urgent Passport request help

me and my wife same passport when we were single.we have not updated after marriage as we are in us.If visa office asked to submit the passport ,same passport works or we need to replace passport mentioned married.We submitted them marriage certificate.

Neither US nor Canadian passports mention your marital status, so I'd be rather surprised if they expected you to update your passport. If you have changed your name then your passport would need to be updated to reflect your legal name of course.

If your passports are valid for travelling there is no need, whatsoever, to get new ones.
I saw replies from VO when someone doubt it and asked:
Dear Sir/Madam,
As long as your child's passport is valid for travel, there is no need to get it replaced.

better apply for a new PP with spouse name endorsement on it if you are recently married or doesn't have kids..!!

I have india passport.No us or canada.we got married after we applied.My wife has not change last name in any document.We gave them marriage certificate.Now we did medical.So do we need to change her name in indian passport if they request to submit passport??

Canada does not require that either of you change your name when you get married, so if she has not changed it, I would not do so until after the PR process is done (if she wishes to do so even then.)
