Urgent : OWP expiring on 19Oct2015 but my passport is with CIC for PR stamping

Appreciate if anybody can respond since I am in desperate situation.

PG OWP expiring on 19Oct2015
I am a CSQ holder and my passport is with CIC for PR visa stamping. Passport arrived in Ottawa for stamping PR visa on 5 Oct 2015.

I lost my job last month (Sept2015).
My query is how I can stay in canada with any valid status. I cannot leave the country since my passport is with CIC.
What I can do if my passport does not arrive by 19Oct 2015 ? What are my options ?
