Hi,

I just received a letter of interest from Ontario today. I have an EE profile with CRS Score of 453. I have several queries that I need help with:

1. Do I need to list all my work experiences even though I might not be able to provide experience letters for some of them?
2. I do not have a bank account right now and I was wondering how I could manage to tackle to show the six months bank statements for proof of settlement funds by opening up an account now?
3. And how should my statement of intent look like?

Just so you know, OINP is taking at least 4 months to issue AORs and at least 2 months after to nominate. They are also not issuing nominations in Dec and Jan. You might be able to get a direct ITA with a score of 453.

So you're saying I should wait a bit and pass on the OINP?

And If I want to apply for OINP how can I show my settlement funds as I don't have a bank account right now.

You can show the bank statements of your father's/mother's/brother's/sister's account or multiple bank accounts which have/add up the money equal to the minimum funds required for a single applicant - CAD 12,000 since last 6 months.

Plus you need to get a gift deed declared from your father/mother/brother/sister stating that he is gifting you this money and there is no need to return it.

Yes, that's what I'm suggesting. :)

If you are working in Canada, you don't need to show a bank account, only your salary under CEC eligibility. This applies to both OINP and CIC applications.

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions!
