I applied through SDS from China in early June and received original passport request in late June. But I had travel plans back then so I requested extension on the 30-day limit, and they never replied. My school is starting on September 3, any advice?
I tried sending a dozen of requests through email, web form, telephone and even fax! Staff at IRCC confirmed my case is being processed in Edmonton and sent a message to the visa office on August 20. They said they can escalate my case to a higher priority but not until 30 days they sent the message. I'm planning waiting for one more week or so, and if I don't get a decision then I'll withdraw my case and reapply.
Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
