This is regarding the transit Visa I applied online on 11th Sept. I'm scheduled to travel via Montreal, Canada on 22nd Nov and still did not get any update on my transit visa. Please let me know what is the next step. I did not receive any message in MyCIC account yet. I think the next step is they will request my passport for stamping. Can I go to Canada Consulate in NYC to get the stamping done in person, I don't want to send my passport through mail, cause it takes lot of time and I have just 8 working days left to get my Visa before i travel.
Please help me in make use of the ticket which was cancelled and re-booked once due to not holding transit visa and I have spent $2200 in total on this ticket.
