Hi All,

I am planning to apply for PR CEC Skill Type A category, I have a business account in Canada (incorporation, just used for being Contrator earlier in 2013 to work for one of the major banks, myself was incorporated as director and self-employed for my own company).

I did NOT count this period of self employed work experience for my PR CEC Skill Type A application. I have another 1 year regular full time experience already.

My question is that does this incorporated business of mine in Canada need to be included Economic Classes - Canadian Experience Class) form? I will include it in the background declaration form.

Thanks in advance!

If you already have eligible experience in a employee-employer relationship, then no need to include this in Schedule 8. But include it in Background declaration.

If this is the case, would CIC consider my application form incomplete? Thanks.

Schedule 8 only needs to list the qualifying work experience you are claiming for CEC.

If you follow the instructions to the letter, and include non-qualifying NOC 0/A/B experience on Schedule 8, there is probably no harm in this, provided that you are aware it's not qualified and have not provided reference letters, etc - they will simply not include it in their calculation of your work experience.
