Hi everyone, i have an urgent question regarding the medicals.

I have received ITA and the individual document checklist has a field "Medical exam"(required).

But the certified physician says you should have a UCI(or something like that) number that he needs to fill in the eMedical system to find my profile and fill in the medical report.

So my question is? Where can I find that number and do I have one?
Have you guys had such issue?

Please advise.
Thank you.

He is wrong. Tell him this is upfront medical exam for express entry. Go with worker non-ede type.

Thanks so much, but

What does the type mean? Where do I mention that?

The physician says that for the upfront medical he has to create our profiles in the emedical system.

So anyway this is an upfront medical for ee right?

Exactly, this is an upfront medical. Usually, they would know the type. However, there has been a precedent on the forum, where the medicals were rejected because they were not of the correct "type". Don't worry too much, just ask them about the type as StAnger has pointed out.

EDE is exessive demand exempt, meaning FSW have tougher medical exams. Tell your doctor to put you under worker non ede.

Ask him to create profile as he is obliged to do so. He has been nominated by cic and he must be given all directions on how to proceed. If he cannot, find another doctor.

Yes this is upfront. Doctor will give you a sheet of paper which you will have to upload while submitting your documents.

Thank you so much, mate.

So this sheet of paper is the MM1017 report or smth else?

You will get a e-Medical Information sheet.

Exactly, the doctor will print out the emedical sheet for you and thats what you upload along with your application. It includes a barcode which cic can use to check on the results entered into the online database.
