I need some suggestion on writing Letter of explanation to extend my Spouse's (Wife) stay in Canada.
I am permanent resident of Canada. She is an Indian Citizen, We got married in India and then I returned to Canada and applied for his visitor's visa, She is now with me.
We have applied for her PR Sponsorship and not yet received the letter of acknowledgement for it.
Her stay in Canada is about to reach 6 months since the day of her entry in Canada, Hence we need to apply for a visitor record.
My question is :
Q: What can we mention in the letter of explanation as a reason of extension of her stay ?
Q: Can we mention that we have applied for PR sponsorship and hence we need a valid status in canada while her PR application in process ? Concerned because visitor visa shows intensions to go back after your visit and Sponsorship file intents the opposite?
