i just received my pp and copr , there is no copr and visa for my patrner, she was on my file but she was not accompanying earlier , than cic asked for her medical and pcc, we did medical together and we paid her processing fee and landing fee and sent a request that my patner is accompanying me to canada. need help ??? what we can do now :'(

pls advice :( friends

The letter should say that you have to contact CIC in case if you have applied for your dependents and do not see a visa or COPR for them.

Write to CIC referring to your case number, you should be fine. Do not worry!

This might sound dumb, but did you send your partner's passport along with yours? And you get hers back with no visa?

I think the passport request says if you've been recently married and adding a spouse/partner in your PR, you should contact them with that info. Did you do that? Or you did that even before the PPR?

Yah the sponsorship that they are talking about it falls under Family Class. Somehow she was not added to your file i guess. You can email a copy of all those documents to Ottawa saying, you already added her to your application. Hopefully they will ask to send her passport, that way you don't have to go through Family Class (which is another pain - new application, new documents, new waiting game).

i did email , no reply yet, hope they ask for my wife passport soon, otherwise family class is 18 month more wait :(

its two days no reply from cic :( shud i wait or shud i go for landing without my partner ????

i just called cic call centre , she said i still can add my wife to my file , before my landing.... i need advice on this pls.....anyone did this before .......any suggestion pls... seems to me cic missed my request to add her before RPRF. :(

no reply from cic its 1 week now. but i got a manual on cic website:- which says :-
Family members can be added to the application at any time during the process, including after the visa is issued but prior to obtaining permanent resident status. Applicants should be counselled to inform the visa office immediately if their family composition has changed. Please see OP 2 Section 7.7 for more information on adding a family member during processing.

Well according to this, you should be able to add your wife as long as you haven't landed yet. Unfortunately their call centre can't process that for you and there's no other way to contact them except email. I heard sometimes it takes a month from them to respond to emails, but you shouldn't be worried about a deadline because you haven't landed.

she's already in my file from 1st day , i just requested cic that she is now accompanying me to canada, we paid RPRF together , did medical together , cic requested her PCC , we emailed our accompanying her request to first vo and we mailed request to new vo , who requested her PCC, i dont know how come they missed it :-[

It must be overlooked when there was a switch of VO. The good news is since they have all the documents it's very easy to rectify the problem. Hopefully it won't take long...

finally received email this morning from CIC:-

"Hello,

Thank you for your email.

Please send all Visa / COPR related documents and required passports that you have received back to the Ottawa office at the mailing address below so they can be re-issued to you."

but this time a differnet address, they want me to mail our PP. i dont knw why :o
