why the hell do they request so many people to resend photos?????????????do lose them.It is quite unlikely that this many people were dumb enough not to be able to send photographs conforming to cic specifications. So what the hell cic?

I know...I am so unlucky...have to go thru all this pain bcos of someones mistake..I am waiting to hear from anyone who has been in the same situation just to understand how long it might take to receive PR card after sending the new photos...

Excellent...do you know anyone who got it in this time frame or did you experience it urself....because I called CIC and the agent says that it might take 38 days again after they receive the new photos but she was not very sure....

I would suggest, send new photos again along with the COPR and a copy of the letter received from CIC.

I have sent the new photos and COPR document today.
Now to wait from CIC :(

All the best br85, stay in touch...I was trying to search the thread in PNP class which chicka was referring to but could not find it..did you try?

I found something in the below link,
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t155883.0.html

hopefully we should know something in 2 weeks(through Call Centre).

My friend helped conference me and the Call Centre for PR Cards - delay. They asked me to resend the photos with correct specification and I got the PR card within a month from that.

Just called cic. Surprisingly took me only 10 min to reach them. A very nice lady informed me that they will see if there is a problem with pics or anything else only after the date stated on the website. So basically to fu.k off until 38 days pass. So far she said there is very little backlog of a few days which should clear by the end of the week. Also she said to stick to days indicated on the web a week before your supposed day of finalization. Hopefully the end of November will yield some results. Good luck to everyone.

Just called CIC and the agents says that the processing center may take a max of 38 days to process the card after receiving the new photos. This is ridiculous....hopefully the processing time will reduce to 30 days this week.

finally I received the letter today which CIC sent by mail requesting for new photos. They also sent the COPR along with the letter and asked me to send the below docs back in the addressed envelope which was enclosed by CIC.

1. COPR
2. New Photos

Surprisingly CIC did not ask me to send the Supplementary Identification form (IMM 5455).

I already sent the above docs last week after I received the email from the agent but the only difference is that I took a photocopy of the COPR on a A4 sheet which is reduced size and not of the original as COPR. Would this be ok?

The COPR which I received from CIC by mail is the usual COPR size which is bigger than A4.
