am from Kahsmir and PR IN canada , my husband is from India too. He was a refugee claimant and after talking to the lawyer we decided to withdraw his refugee application and pursue spousal sponsorship application. We got married last year and applied for his spousal sponsorship in December and got AOR IN June. We withdraw his refugee in August. Now all of sudden we got a email from IRCC asking for his passport and PCC . THE problem is his passport is expired and not with him. The Ircc has given us one months time to submit all the documents. Can he renew his passport thru emergency does the Indian embassy renew passport of withdrawn refugee claimant. Any suggestions would help.
