Kindly let me know what should be the level of my French language ability if I would like to get points from this section?Do I need to appear for any French language test for this purpose?

Are they going to examine my French language ability if it is mentioned on the form that I know this language?Would basic level be enough for applying ,as there is not much time left for me to learn advanced level of French.

How do they access French language ability?Would basic level work fine as I am short of 2 points.

It's Hasib again at your service. Yes u need to sit for a test. The test is called Test d'évaluation de français (TEF)
