Hello everyone,
I applied for PR under the CEC category from Vancouver.BC. AOR 9th April.
On the 28th of April our present company shut down and laid all the employees of.
They laid us off without notice or written arrangements.
Now after finding no jobs in BC, I found a job in Montreal,Quebec and have to move there.
What will happen when CIC raises this issue? Can I counter it? Because getting laid off was not my fault. I gave them all the documents and came to canada with the promise of a 2 year contract with my company giving a reference letter saying that once I get PR they will employ me for 1 more year.
It has been 6 months now with no end in sight. I am helpless and hopeless at the moment.
If the worst scenario comes to happen what can I do then?
Any senior advice or input into this matter would be utmost appreciated.
