I received my AOR and when I sent my package I didn't send option c, because I didn't have it at that time.
When I received my AOR I sent the option c for 2013, 2014 year and went to post office (Canada post) to mail it. I filled everything out and I was going to send it express post, When I was ready I was calling the lady to take the letter from my hand.
The lady was busy, because there was long lineup on Sunday. So I put it in the post office mail box. My packet was suppose to be delivered today, but no tracking information is on the website.
I called Canada post today and they said; you are suppose to hand urgent/xpress mail to the cashier. Since you put your letter in a mail box (she said that is a regular outgoing mail box)
She said there is no way to track it now since it will not be scanned. She also said it might be on the way/or already delivered.
She said the only way to know is calling the person, if they have received it.
Can someone help me what should I do? Any suggestion. Thanks in advance
PLS HELP

I'm unsure why you chose to mail it without any sort of tracking - yes there may have been a line but that would obviously be preferable to having no way of knowing if they get it or not. I would probably suggest calling for another option C and then mailing it again, correctly, once you get it. That's really all that you can do.

There was a tracking number, but I didn't know it was regular box until today. Since it went with regular mail it wasn't scanned. Can I call there call centre to find out if they received it or not

I'm sure it will be okay. They will get the package. I'm pretty sure they will get it, it will just take couple days more since it is regular mail. Just wait a few days, because it was a holiday week and give them a call on Friday or Monday to confirm they received your package.

Does the call centre know if they received the papers or not. Who would I call to check if they received it.

Did you send the Option C in response to a request for the document?

No I sent it in advance since I have to application number now. No they didn't request it yet

There is nothing you can do right now. The call center won't know anything util the package gets opened and the documents attached to your file.

Your best bet right now is to reorder your option C as they don't cost you any money and have them on hand if they request them .

Just so you know, and don't stress out too much, regular Canada Post mail can suck. My brother-in-law brought some paperwork back for me, and mailed it from Hamilton ON to Toronto ON, and it took 19 days (including 3 weekends and Family Day). One issue is that you are sending it to the courier address, when Canada Post regular mail goes to the PO Box.

I agree with taffy7 on this reorder your Option C and send it again properly with tracking. It is important and it could be possible with out it that your application could rendered incomplete.

i would not recommend sending it again until it's actually requested by CIC. there's a chance they will process the application without it, if they don't have a concern. there are some people who have gotten approval without it. sending it again without it actually being requested is not necessarily going to fix the problem. at that point, it's just going to end up in a stack of envelopes. when a form is requested, there are specific instructions about where/how to send it. it's really best just to wait it out and see what CIC decides is necessary.

I wrote you will have it on hand when requested. I agree it will land up on someone's desk and they won't have a clue what to do with it.

I ordered option'c again yesterday to have them delivered to me again.
I sent it to a P.O. Box adress
I wrote on the envelope the application and UCI number (as well as put a coverletter inside to tell them application number and UCI number, as well as explaining I didn't send option c before)
Thank you guys for the advices, now i am just waiting for option c to come again
