Urgent Help !! Police Clearance Certificate

I am residing in Canada. Moving forward with application for PR
Right Now, I am stuck with PCC. I have tried to issue PCC from india.
Concerned police station(Elisbridge-India) said that they want application by CIC stating that "Candidate want PCC for purpose of PR"

CIC does not issue this kind of letter and hence, its difficult to go forward without it.

Does anybody face same problem and overcome with it ????????????????????

Now, I am going to apply for PCC from Canada. via BLS.

I have filled up every required docs.

Any CLUE for getting it done Faster ???????????????????

First, relax. It will all work out. My suggestion would be to e-mail CIC and tell them what has been requested. Explain that you can't get the PCC without it and ask if they can provide you with this documentation. Then, take it from there.

When i took my fingerprint for FBI clearance, i was told he can able to us (i am an indian too) to get the clearance from india. though not sure how the report looks like.

Just apply through BLS, they d'not ask for any letters. The standard timelines are 4-6 weeks.Sometimes they are faster, I got in a week.

I had asked CIC the question whether I can get my PCC from my home country while I'm in Canada. They said PCC must be issued by the consulate in Canada if the person is in Canada.

Just apply for PCC at the your home country consulate in Canada. You can submit your PR application without PCC. PCC can be submitted later.

Yup, thats right, you will have to get the PCC from the consulate of India at Canada and not from India.

Yes just apply through BLS. I got mine in 3 weeks.
