hi all i got admission in Victoria university but now i came to Toronto. So i have health card of victoria??how can i convert it to toronto health card.pls guide.

Salam bro,

As international student, you are not eligible for Ontario Health Insurance (OHIP). The rules is different from province to the other here in Canada. I suggest to contact you international office in your school in Toronto to arrange a health insurance for you.

For more info, you can have a look at OHIP website:

http://www.health.gov.on.ca/en/public/programs/ohip/ohipfaq_mn.aspx

Good luck

You should have group health coverage from your Uni/College. It's all included in the fee. When a student starts his/her first semester, he/she gets enrolled in medical coverage. Please check your LOA or visit your Uni website, International students section. However, do remember, if you take a drop in any semester, during that period you won't be covered. You will be covered in Uni/college group policy as long as you are an active student.
