I just realised that in my junk email was the email i thought i didnt get from CIC. attatched to it is the 'official reciept' i didnt realise that was what i had to send! ive sent off my app already with a printout of the page i got when i paid online.
Since ive got no contact n the stuff still hasnt arrived there, what should i do? just send out the actual reciept to the same address n pray they get the two bits together? or is there something else i should be doing :(

I have now sent off the correct reciept to them, it has the same reference number on it as the screen shot i sent them so hopfully it will be ok =\ I sent the one the screen showed when i paid as it said at the top 'This is your reciept' !!!
Can someone confirm that ive done the right thing here, and is there anything else i should do like contact them? To my knowledge i dont have any numbers to my case yet for their reference, unless thats whats on the reciept? help?
 
That sounds like the right thing to do. Hopefully you sent it by courier so it will get there asap. I would also follow up with a fax to CPC Mississauga: 905-803-7392. Include your name, address and contact number and the applicant's name and address, the date that you originally sent the application and the receipt number.
 
should i include a copy of the correct recipet with the fax too? or just a cover letter explaining?
 
Yes, I would include a cover letter explaining what happened and include the correct receipt number.
 
Okay, i checked out what i sent them (which was a screenshot from when i paid) and it has the same number as the 'official' reciept so hopefully it will all be okay!

The email you got is just a confirmation that your payment was received - the receipt that you printed out is sufficient as proof that you paid the fees.
 
It is? it had no barcode or anything like the one attatched to the email =\
