Hi,

Can any senior member help me please? I am currently a holder of a PGWP and i have graduated from a Business Administration Diploma from a Canadian Institution but i have been working as a Starbucks Captain for the past 10months out of my 1year post Graduation work experience.

Can somebody please help me to identity which NOC code category i fall under?

Thank you,
J.V

I work at a licensed Starbucks and we dont have managers there. The top level would be a Captain(holding the same roles and responsibilities as a manager) but with different title. I am in charge of the store, hiring&training of new staffs, scheduling, ordering, and everything else.

0631 Restaurant and food service managers
http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/Profile.aspx?val=0&val1=0631
NOC SKILL LEVEL 0

6311 Food service supervisors

NOC SKILL LEVEL B

I'm more inclined that your NOC is 0631 but wait for other people to respond. Now we know what you do so it will be easier for other people to say ;)

What title you hold is not important, but your duties are when determining your NOC code and skill type.

Thank you sooo much.

I was kind of debating between these two as the diploma i have is not a Food Service Diploma. :S
I don't think that Food Service Diploma is mandatory in your case, if you were working in a restaurant it would probably be different. I've seen somewhere here that people working on your position in Starbucks successfully applied for CEC, so don't worry. Just decide what NOC to use when applying for CEC.
