You can always ask the school where you're planning to attend to. Mostly they will ask for transcripts, diploma & IELTS but it all depends on the school.

Hello, if you're a country that requires a visa to enter Canada then both of you needs to fill out TRV & if your husband would like to work while you study, he can apply for open work permit.

Is he also required to fill up family information? I thought if youre bringing your spouse with you, he is already entitled for open wokr permit which now is wrong. For open work permit for my husband, can we include it in my student application? or it should be in a separte application? When do he need to apply, if i already have an student permit or when we are already in canada. thanks

Yes, he needs to fill out his own family information form IMM5645. He is entitled for an open work permit but he needs to apply for it.

Yes, you can submit your application for study visa together with husband's open work permit but each of you has to fill out your own forms.

What I noticed is that if wife applies for student visa & visitor visa only for husband, there's a chance of denial, for me, much better apply for open work permit & student visa together or you can apply first for your visa then he will apply when you are already there, it's all up to you.

1: for post secondary students. (+2 students)

2: for post graduate students.
