:o >:( :'(
I arrived in Canada on 5th of june a day after my letter from AIT stipulated (which was on or before the 4th of june on arriving at Calgary aiport the immigration officer pointed this out but still issued the work permit but said I need to contact AIT and get a new letter issued, on contacting AIT they informed me that I cant get a new letter issued
now my problem is that I had another job offer and lmo given to me and proceeded to flag pole but the officer at the boarder revoked my existing work permit based on the issue above saying it should never have been issued and refused to issue me a new work permit as the employer never but my name on the LMO. what he did issue me with is a 4 week visitors visa to get a new letter from AIT and my name on the new lmo.

What I would like to know is:
1. are there any other options open to me with in this 4 week time frame
2. and does any body know what the time frame is on getting my name put on the LMO
3. how do I go about getting a new letter from AIT or do I have to submit all my qualifications again
4. is it possible for me to send off the lmo on behalf of the employer to get my name put on it just so I could get an idea of how long it will take

thanks for any help
P.S packing my bags just in case :-(

1. The AIT program has expired, so you are out of luck there.
2. To get a work permit, you are going to require an approved LMIA. It will probably take longer than 4 weeks.
