Me and my spouse are on a work permit in Canada. Our visas have expired. We have to urgently visit India on October 29. I applied for TRV for me and my wife on August 26 as combined application with my wife as primary applicant. My wife got the Form 5257 and she has received the passport request. As per the IRCC questionnaire, I got the form 5708 and I still have not received any update on my application. After online search, I now understand maybe I had to file separate appl;ication for myself with Form 5257. Now I just have 27 calendar days left before ,my travel date. What should I do? Can I now file a new application and fill Form 5257 and withdraw my old application? Or wait for the processing of old application? Please help, we have alot at stake.
