**URGENT HELP NEEDED** PASSPORT AND STUDY PERMIT EXPIRING IN A MONTH**

Hi, like the title said and I totally understand is my fault that i did not check my passport expiration dates. However, i was hoping anyone with similar experience or have the knowledge of what i should do now?.

I am international student from Malaysia, my passport and study permit is expiring end of February and i just found out today. I've checked i need to wait at least 10-12weeks for renewal of my passport, so i was wondering what is going to happen to me? and what can i do?

Do i have to leave Canada?
or I can renew my passport now and still stay in Canada but cannot attend school (because studypermit expired), and wait till i have my new passport and reapply but study permit. By that time, i am assuming i have to go through the restoration my student status?

first go and contact ur country's embassy first and ask dem how many days it will take to get u a new pp
