I have received my ITA on 1st May 2025 & the date of my IELTS results expiring is 11th May 2025. I am still in process of getting PCC & other documents. So couldn't file my eAPR till now. Please confirm if it is fine to proceed & file eAPR with this IELTS result expiring on 11th May or should i go for a new IELTS exam & try to score the same or higher?

EITLS should be valid the day you submit your application, it gets locked in. It's okay if it expires even the next day.

If it's expired before the submission, you need to retake it and get score high enough to be eligible for the draw where you were invited.

Hi, and congrats on receiving your ITA on 1st May 2025.
You’re fine to proceed with your current IELTS results. IRCC only requires your language test to be valid on the date you receive your ITA, not when you submit your eAPR.

Since your IELTS is valid until 11th May and your ITA was issued on 1st May, you do not need to retake the test, even if it expires before you file your eAPR.

Just make sure you submit your complete application within the 60-day deadline and gather all required documents on time.
Good luck , you're on the right track!

I strongly disagree. But it's your call.

DO NOT TAKE THAT RISK!!!

Submit before it expires!

So the language test results should be valid both at the time the invitation was issued and at the time the officer received their application.

Your answer is misleading.

Check this: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...da/express-entry/documents/language-test.html

How long your results are valid for

Your test results must be less than 2 years old when you:
  • complete your Express Entry profile, and
  • submit your application for permanent residence
