Hi ...

I sent in my application under CEC to Sydney Nova Scotia on December 7,2012 and they withdrew money from CC today. My problem is I just realized when reading through forums that I put in the wrong NOC number I put 2171 whereas it should be 2283.

Help.... is there any way of changing it on my file ? I don't want my application to be rejected :(

Please help :'(

I believe you are a Software tester/ QA analyst ? there is a very thin line of distinction between 2 as far as responsibilities are concerned but NOC codes are different. As you CC is charged, you are through your first line of verification by CIO. What makes you feel you will be rejected at a later stage ?

Well the first step is just starting the application.

when they look into your file with job description and NOC at a later stage that is when they reject you on the basis of wrong NOC entered.

Yes there is a thin line in my job but when I read my employment letter duties mentioned with 2283 duties its more similar than 2171.

I want to change it to be on safer side. Do you know any way I can change it ?

hmmm ... I see... I guess I will fill out my IM0008 once again and send it out tomorrow with the letter of employment.

I hope it works.

Thanks a lot.
