urgent help : condition on my study permit `ATTENDANCE AT THE UNIVERSITY,COLLEG`

Hi,

I came on a student visa here on 29 april,2014. By the time I came
here I had received the admission offer from Concordia
University,Montreal and CAQ(certificate of acceptance in quebec) for
masters degree. So, I had decided to withdraw from my previous
institute considering the program withdraw policy (Conestoga
college,Kitchener)and join Concordia University for the same may
intake
reading the following information :

There is one condition on my study permit that says `ATTENDANCE AT THE
UNIVERSITY,COLLEGE OR INSTITUTE SPECIFIED BY THE IMMIGRATION OFFICER`

I am confused what does this condition mean and won`t it be a problem
to get work permit after my studies. Do I need to apply for changing
the above condition on my passport or inform cic via mycic account in
order to get work permit during and after my studiies.
please advise me.

So, why don't you make an appointment with a consultant or lawyer and ask him? why don't you call CIC? Or talk to your school international adviser? That's 3 sources of opinions.

Initially when i landed in 2024 i was enrolled in university bachelor’s program for September intake but i changed and started studying in college diploma DLI have been updated with IRCC and they confirmed that dLI shows college name but do you think there will any issue in future if i have “ On my study permit there is condition - MUST BE IN ATTENDANCE AT UNIVERSITY - BACHELOR'S DEG. If you never attended the university for at least a semester you’re not compliant with the terms of your study permit. You were required to apply for a new study permit to change to the college program. This is a big issue. I would suggest speaking to an immigration lawyer and also your college. It appears as though you have been studying when you were not entitled to study and likely don’t have a valid study permit.

Will consult immigration lawyer thank you guidance do you think applying for extension will make difference or fix issue?

Confusing part is IRCC have issue co op as well for new college after I started with college

I would speak with a lawyer. You were supposed to obtain a new study permit to switch schools.
