[Urgent]FSW Application number

Hi guys!
I submitted my files at the end of the june 2014. Now i got an full time job offer but HR want to know my PR Application number. I have never heard back from CIC after i submitted my files. The only proof that i have is the Postal service delivery check receipt.

I need an urgent help, doe any body know what to do? Because when i call them they are asking for a Application number which i dont have it

It's impossible for you to provide a file / application number at this time. CIC hasn't even opened your application yet. They are still working on applications from the first week of June. So if your application was received at the end of June you probably still have another month to wait.

So are they going to send me an application number as an e-mail?
Can i still submit for a work permit? I am a PhD student and currently holding a study permit
It is very important to me so that i can Route HR

Yes - they will eventually send you your number via email.

Whether you can apply for a work permit depends on the kind of work permit you are planning on applying for.

As i see from the forum people who submitted applications on June has been asked for an interview, nevertheless, i got an offer from a company today it is a full time job offer so i guess i will apply for one kind of work permit which is a regular work permit isnt it?
i would appreciate if you enlighten me, i need an urgent help
