urgent extension of status after restoration

hii i would appriciate if anyone can help me out of this i applied for restoration of visitors staus in jan 2017 which was approved and i got the letter today 9th of may but it valid till 5th of june , now i want to apply for an extension of of visitors visa but it already less than 30 days because i got the mail late from cicnow the question is should i still apply for the extension or wait till it expries to apply for another restoration of status
