Hi
I was having my Bonded work permit issued june 2019(NOC 3223), I did work there from since June 2019 to April 2021.
Then During applied my CEC application, I got a job offer from same employer for another one year .
But I already have a bridging open work permit now valid until June 2022.
Question::::1) I want to change my employer, but I have same job arrangement from another employer??? Can I change my employer? Or how can I update to cic for it.
I got 50 points for job arrangement.
Aor March 21
Medical March 28 passed
Criminality passed
Eligibility and securities no started.
Please help me

When you say bonded - you mean a closed work permit?

If you change employers, you will no longer have the job offer tied to your previous employer, isn’t it?

read your AOR letter, you’re required to inform IRCC if you lose your job offer.

once you inform IRCC, they’ll deduct 50 points from your CRS. If the recalculated score is still above cut off of the round you where invited in, then nothing to worry about. If not, they’ll refuse your app.

CIC has issued me a open work permit on April first week valid for June 2022 with no conditions and they mentioned, I can work with any employer with no conditions. @NOC98 @legalfalcon

@NOC98 @Dnrvl I want to ask do I need to still keep my previous job or can I work with another employer with new open work permit???
is this going to effect 50 points which I claimed for job offer in 21 March AOR with previous employer.

Am not sure what’s not clear in my answer. Your job offer is linked to your previous employer where you have a closed work permit. If you’re no longer working for that employer, why do you think you’re still eligible for the 50 points?

you have to inform IRCC that you no longer have that job offer.

your CRS composition will be checked under eligibility

You already submitted your app and got your AOR, so where would you put those details in? Thats not how Canadian PR application works, you should’ve thought about this before you submitted your app. If you thought of resigning, you shouldn’t have claimed job offer points.

My advice is stay with your current employer until you get a decision.

You claimed 50 points for having a job offer. If you change employers then you will no longer be entitled to these 50 points.

If you don't need these 50 points to be above the cut off score for the draw where you received ITA, then you can change employers. If you need the 50 points, then don't change employers until you have PR.

It's supposed to be valid for one year from the time you become a PR.

You obviously must also still be working with that employer to claim the 50 points.

@scylla But In case if i’m becoming pr after 1 year will then they deduct the point? As the 50 point is valid only for an year from the date you received the aor
