URGENT DOUBT: Proof of Funds -- Asivad & other experts!!!

Hello, Asivad & other Seniors!

This is regarding my two bank accounts. I have an old bank account (Account 1) which I used for my previous company's salary deposits. Since my current company asked me to open an account in a bank that has a tie-up with it (very common in Indian IT companies), I opened a new account in that bank (Account 2) for salary deposits. So now, I continue using my old account (Account 1) for savings and new account (Account 2) for salary deposits and ad-hoc withdrawals.

Please note that:
1. My two accounts are from two different banks.
2. Only Account 1 has sufficient funds as I use it for savings.

Now my question is, for Proof of Funds:
1. Can I just show Bank Certificate (and/or statements) for Account 1 only?
2. Should I also need to get Bank Certificate (and/or statements) for Account 2 since that's my current salary account?

Please advice me for my given situation. Thanks!

Account 1 would suffice. If there are suspiciously large credit transactions into Account 1 within the last 6 months, you'll have to explain source of funds.

Since Account 1 is pretty old, I maintain sufficient amount for a long period of time (more than 6 months). I initially thought not to show Account 2 because that's added burden of requesting certificate from that second bank.

But, I was also worried if CIC officials would question me about where my salary is being deposited. That's why I asked this question. I believe CIC won't ask about salary deposits - am I right, Asivad?

IRCC won't bother with salary deposit.
