Friends, I filed FSW application in Dec 2012 and got my medical request and police report request from CPP-Ottawa in Dec 19, 2013. Much before that I sent my FBI and Indian police certificate to CIO Sydney indicating my file and UCI no. It seems CPP-O did not get those. Now they are asking for FBI police report which is extremely difficult to get within 60 days. My last date for sending the police report is 19 Feb. Please help

so, they asked you for the FBI report in December, giving you 60 days to submit it in Feb 19th?

Yes, but problem is it is extremely difficult to get FBI police report within 60 days, though I already applied for it. More problem if FBI rejecting the fingerprint saying its bad.

I am planning them to send a photocopy of the earlier report and ask them extra time. please advise.

don't worry, just email them and ask for an extension, everybody gets an extension for the police clearance.

Hi,

The letter that CIC normally sends, says that if we don't hear from you in 60 days, we will assume you are no longer interested (I gather you received something similar). This just means they want to know within a period of 60 days that you are trying to get them the docs they need. Sometime people just get fed up with all the requirements and are no longer interested in pursuing immigration and this text is meant for them.

All you need to do is reply back that you have applied for FBI clearance and will send them the document once it is ready (this counts as reply within 60 days).

Regards,
