Hi, Say, my work permit is expiring in 5 months from now and if i create my EE profile now, will I get newly introduced 50 points as anyway I am employed here in full time, exempted from LMO? Someone says if our WP is not having one year validity, 50 points not applicable for us and EE profile does not give us 50 points?. Please help me understand this.
Ideally WP expiry should not matter. Right?

What kind of WP you have.? If it's PGWP then stop dreaming about 50 extra points as PGWP is not eligible for that

PGWP : Post Grad Work permit,

Yours is employer specific so you can claim 50 points based on following two conditions.

1. You must be working with same employer for 1 year full time, continuously
2. Your employer must provide letter saying that you will be hired for 1 year once you are granted PR.

Thanks. Very useful/To-the-point answer. Really helps ;)
Sure,
Pt.1 - I have been with same employer since 2 years, so no issues
Pt.2 - Means, my current employer should be in a position to give me a confirmation letter anytime that they will continue me here? Then, no issues.

thanks a lot
