Urgent: call for passport submition

I received an email to submit my passport for PR stamp.

I renewed my passport as it was about to expire, but CIC does not have any details of new passport.

Work permit stamp is still on old passport.

Should i submit both passports or only new passport?

Suggestions??????????

I guess I am at the right place as I have a doubt about my Passport

My passport is expiring in January 2015 and I have to send my application ASAP. My question is that if its OK to send the application with the passport that I have or get it renewed first? If I do apply for renewal it may take a while and my application will get further delayed. I was told by someone at the "Passport Seva Kendra" that they stamp the VISA on passports that has 1 year or above in expiry. I am totally confused as to what should I do to tackle this situation so that there are no issues created at a later stage?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated ;D

for permanent residence you must have a valid passport

You need to mention valid passport details in your application irrespective of the date of expiry of the PP. Once the application is submitted to CIC and before the final decision, you can renew your PP and inform your Visa Office accordingly.
